I’m a fine art painter based out of a small town in southern Iowa. I work from my art studio in my home nestled between the rolling Iowan corn fields. I’ve been enamored with art from an early age, always loving the solitude and comfort that it brought me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed creating things with my hands whether it be a multitude of crafts, sewing, pottery, drawing, painting, and much more. I’ve always had a calling to be creative.

My work is inspired by plants and nature, warm nostalgia, textiles, patterns, and the comforting feeling of home. I love to paint vibrant and loosely painted landscapes along with painterly and homey still life scenes.

I primarily work with acrylic paint to achieve lovely texture and gestural work. I love to experiment with colors and different techniques to bring a light-hearted feeling and whimsy to each piece. My goal is to create a comforting world with my art to bring a warmth and joy to your home and life.
